As part of the NBER Summer Institute Methods Lecture series, Ted discusses issues of research transparency and reproducibility in economics and other social science research fields. He draws on his book Transparent and Reproducible Social Science Research (joint with Garret Christensen and Jeremy Freese) and the latest research on publication bias, replication, pre-registration and pre-analysis plans, and trends in the adoption of open science practices across fields.
